Animal Crossing: New Horizons allows players to travel to different island through Dodo Airlines, the island's airport manned by dodo birds Orville and Wilbur. Using the airport allows players to visit other players' islands, take photos at Harv's Island or embark on a Mystery Island Tour. New Horizons' latest monthly event, Wedding Season, updates the airport with a useful but limiting new feature: Selling and shipping through Dodo Airlines.

Starting June 1, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can ship or liquidate items acquired on Harv's Island. After players help Reese and Cyrus with their anniversary photos, players will be rewarded with special, seasonal items. Upon approaching Wilbur at the dock, he gives players the option to ship or liquidate items they've acquired.

Shipping the items will send them straight to the player's home storage at no cost, freeing up their inventory and allowing you to spend more time on the island. Liquidating items will sell them directly to Nook's Cranny for the same price as the Drop-Off Box (a 20 percent markdown from their usual sell price).

This feature is a great new addition to the game, but there is a significant catch. As of right now, shipping and liquidation only works on Harv's Island and not on Mystery Tour Islands or friend's islands, where it would be far more useful. Limiting this new feature feels like a great disservice to the player, especially since exploring uncharted islands is such a big part of New Horizons.

When traveling to Nook Miles Islands, players seek to harvest as much as they possibly can. However, due to limited pocket space -- even after expanding -- they are not able to bring everything home with them. Granting players the ability to sell and liquidate items on Nook Miles Tours will allow them to explore and acquire more items and make exploring these islands even more worthwhile.

If Nintendo doesn't allow the service on Nook Miles Islands, then another solution could be expanded pocket space. The maximum number of inventory slots is currently 40, but those slots can fill up quick once players catch bugs and fish, dig up flowers and trees or collect resources like wood, stones and shells. Minor inventory expansion can go a long way to helping players get the most out of Nook Miles Islands.
