The new teaser trailer for Angry Birds 2, the sequel to 2016's Angry Birds, just took a page out of HBO's Game of Thrones' book.
The first footage depicts the everyday life of Zeta (voiced by Leslie Jones), a bird who lives on an island of ice and snow. Since birds typically escape to warmer climates when the winter season approaches, Zeta struggles to enjoy life in an environment with limited options due to its climate.

Eventually, she reveals an impressive scientific arsenal, complete with an oversized cannon capable of launching gigantic iceballs. One of her massive iceballs lands near Bird Island, where the Angry Birds and their enemy King Mudbeard witness the attack. "We're gonna need a bigger slingshot," King Mudbeard says, referencing Roy Schneider's famous line from Jaws.

Based on the video game series of the same name, the 2016 film received mixed reviews but was a box office success, earning $352 million and becoming the second highest-grossing film based on a video game.
Written by Peter Ackerman and directed by Thurop van Orman, Angry Birds 2 stars returning cast members Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage joined by Brooklyn Prince, Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Sterling K. Brown, Eugenio Derbez, Zach Woods, Awkwafina, Lil Rel Howery, Dove Cameron, Beck Bennet and Nick Minaj. The film is scheduled to hit theaters August 16th, 2019.
