Angry Birds 2 Lands Highest Rotten Tomatoes Score for a Video Game Movie

We're only a week away from the release of The Angry Birds Movie 2, but as of this writing, the sequel is on track to become the highest-rated video game movie on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 is currently sitting with an 81% rating on the Tomatometer, with a total of 27 critic reviews. Of course, as additional reviews start rolling in, the Tomatometer score is expected to change. But as of right now, the early response certainly bodes well for the sequel.
