Angela Bassett Confirms Two More MCU Characters Survived Infinity War

While many fan-favorite characters met their untimely ends over the course of Avengers: Infinity War, a handful survived the tragic ending to finish the fight in next year's Avengers 4.

While promoting this weeks' release of Mission: Impossible -- Fallout, Black Panther actor Angela Bassett revealed the survival of two additional Marvel Cinematic Universe characters from the events of Infinity War: Her own character Ramonda and her daughter Shuri. In an interview with Screen Rant, the Academy Award-nominated actor was asked if she believed her MCU character and Shuri disintegrated along with have of all life in the universe after Thanos' infamous snap with the Infinity Gauntlet.

"No. Neither did my daughter. Shuri, she's a bright girl there in Wakanda." confirmed Bassett.

Bassett's Ramonda did not appear in Infinity War while Letitia Wright briefly reprised her role as Shuri in the final act of the film. Neither character was seen after Thanos' snap leading to speculation if the mother and daughter joined T'Challa who was killed in the film's climax.

With both characters evidently surviving Thanos' successful bid to wipe out half of all life in the universe, perhaps the mother-daughter duo will be seen again in next year's currently untitled Avengers sequel.
