In the latest trailer for Angel Has Fallen, Gerard Butler's Secret Service Agent Mike Banning finds himself the scapegoat of a conspiracy to kill the President of the United States. Soon, he goes on the run from the FBI, even as he attempts to solve the crime and clear his own name.
During his time on the lam, Banning ends up in a forest, under siege by government agents. Taking a page out of The Punisher's book, Banning and his father use the terrain, the darkness and their wits to overcome terrifying odds.

When there is an assassination attempt on U.S. President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), his trusted confidant, Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), is wrongfully accused and taken into custody. After escaping from capture, he becomes a man on the run and must evade his own agency and outsmart the FBI in order to find the real threat to the President. Desperate to uncover the truth, Banning turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name, keep his family from harm and save the country from imminent danger.
Angel Has Fallen is the third installment of a franchise that includes Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen. Butler appears as Mike Banning in all three movies.
Releasing in theaters on August 23, Angel Has Fallen stars Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Tim Blake Nelson and Piper Perabo, with Nick Nolte and Danny Huston.
