Yet another Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel alum has weighed in on the allegations made by Charisma Carpenter against franchise creator Joss Whedon.Amy Acker, who played Winifred Burkle and Illyria on Angel, tweeted, "I will always be proud of the work we all did on Angel. While I personally had a good and professional experience, it is heartbreaking to hear that not everyone did. I do not condone any actions that made anyone feel hurt or uncomfortable, and I offer love and support to everyone who is speaking out to tell their truths."RELATED: Buffy's Anthony Stewart Head 'Gutted' to Hear of Joss Whedon's On-Set Abuse

The current situation involving Whedon began when Carpenter offered support for Justice League star Ray Fisher while also detailing her own experience with Whedon during their time on Buffy. According to Carpenter, it was Fisher's public stance against Whedon that helped guide her decision to come forward, explaining how Whedon "has a history of being casually cruel." Examples she cited include how Whedon "proceeded to attack my character, mock my religious beliefs, accuse me of sabotaging the show, and then unceremoniously fired me the following season once I gave birth." Carpenter's statement was swiftly corroborated by fellow Buffy alum Amber Benson.

Since then, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michelle Trachtenberg, Emma Caulfield, Eliza Dushku, James Marsters, Marti Nixon, Jose Molina, David Boreanaz and more have come out with their own messages of support for Carpenter and/or condemnation of Whedon.
