Lucasfilm dropped a new trailer for Andor, the latest Disney+ Star Wars series.

Revealed during a segment on Good Morning America, the latest trailer spotlights the titular Cassian Andor, once again played by Diego Luna, as he's pushed deeper and deeper into the dangerous world of the Rebel Alliance. While details on the show's plot remain scarce, the show is expected to utilize a darker tone than previous Star Wars installments as Andor is forced into making questionable decisions in his quest to destroy the Empire.

Fans of the galaxy far, far away will undoubtedly recognize Andor as the grizzled rebel leader who helped steal the plans for the Death Star in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. While the character will no doubt be familiar, Luna reassured fans that the series is still packed with surprises. "We find him in a place where he’s not aware of how capable he is of transforming or being part of change or executing such a sacrifice, but he is the man that comes out from fighting since he was six years old," Luna said. The actor went on to say that viewers will likely be shocked to see what "he's capable of" as the story unfolds.

Luna has previously noted how Andor differs from Rogue One, stating that both stories serve different purposes in the ever-growing Star Wars universe. "Rogue One is more about an event than the actual journey of [the] characters. It's quite amazing to start a show where it’s not about where we can end—it's about, how did we end there?" Luna said.

Cassian Andor won't be the only rebel fans will come to understand better in Andor. Mon Mothma, a fan-favorite character since her first appearance in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, will also be explored in the series. Genevieve O'Reilly, who reprises her role as the stoic leader, noted that Andor is an opportunity to deepen the iconic figure. "We have now the chance to get to know the woman. Previously, she was a bit of a pillar, or maybe a statue," O'Reilly said. "I love that now we get to excavate that a little bit and learn about the human being -- the woman behind the gown, if you will."

Andor premieres on Disney+ on Sept. 21.
