A new piece of promotional art for Andor has replaced Diego Luna's titular lead with Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak) from FX's What We Do in the Shadows.Shortly following Andor's premiere on Disney+, FX's official Twitter account shared a poster for "Nandor," parodying a similar one released during Star Wars Celebration to promote Andor. The poster features Novak's character from the horror-comedy series, which recently concluded its fourth season. "We had to," the tweet reads. "Watch Star Wars [Andor]. 3-episode premiere now streaming on [Disney+]."RELATED: Andor, Morbius Star Explains the Difference Between Star Wars and Marvel

The humorous promotional image highlights just how different the two series are from one another. Based on the 2014 film of the same name by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, What We Do in the Shadows is a mockumentary that follows the misadventures of four vampire roommates living on Staten Island along with Nandor's long-suffering familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén). Although the series typically leans more toward comedy than drama, Shadows will occasionally explore more mature themes. A recent example of this is when Guillermo came out as gay to his family. "It was important to me that I handled Guillermo's coming out story authentically and with fragile hands," Guillén, who himself identifies as queer, explained in August.

Andor Is a Smash Hit

Even still, Andor already proved itself to be far more serious of a show than Shadows -- as well as most other Star Wars entries. Set five years before the events depicted in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Andor stars an ensemble cast led by its titular protagonist. The "thriller" series has already received praise from fans and critics for its darker approach to the Star Wars mythos. Showrunner Tony Gilbert explained recently that this grounded tone came from his desire to give a "real" approach to Andor's production.

Andor will conclude following its two 12-episode seasons. Luna, who reprises his role as Cassian Andor from Rogue One, has said that Andor's second season will be his final Star Wars project. "For me, this is it. It's a beautiful journey now that I have 24 episodes, 24 shorter films, to tell the story of where Cassian comes from and how he got to be the man we met in Rogue One," he explained. "It does have a beginning and an end. Therefore, I can understand it and I can enjoy the ride and kind of picture the aim we have. I think that's needed, otherwise, you're always working to get somewhere else. I don't think that way."

The first three episodes of Andor are now streaming on Disney+, with new episodes premiering Wednesdays. Seasons 1-4 of What We Do in the Shadows are available to stream now on Hulu.
