An Awesome Title Transformation...

The Golden Age has a lot of these, and I've even featured my all-time favorite in an installment of Comic Book Legends Revealed (check that one out here - that column also explains why this was such a common practice), but while reading last week's Alter Ego on the MLJ superheroes (which you can purchase here), I came across a very humorous title transformation, so check out what happened when the Black Hood's Top Notch Comics underwent a bit of a transformation...

Top-Notch Comics debuted in 1939, and by 1942, the superhero the Black Hood was the lead feature, but in 1942, a change took place (based on the success of Archie Andrews in Pep Comics in 1941-42)...

Pretty funny, huh?
