It appears as though Castiel will be faced with an “arrogant betrayal” in the fourth episode of Supernatural's upcoming fifteenth and final season.
The episode, titled "The Rupture," will see Sam and Dean Winchester team up with Rowena (played by guest star Ruth Connell) as they work together in an attempt to stop all of Hell from breaking free. The episode is directed by Charles Beeson and written by Robert Berens. It is scheduled to air on The CW on Oct. 24.

AS IT IS WRITTEN - Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) together with Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) work tirelessly to keep all of hell from breaking loose. Castiel (Misha Collins) cannot forgive an arrogant betrayal.

Rowena originally debuted during Supernatural Season 10 as an antagonist to the Winchesters. She would eventually ally herself with Sam, Dean and Castiel, assisting them with her knowledge and experience with magic to combat the evil that they faced.
Returning Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW for its final season, Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert.
