Season 3 of Disney's Amphibia gets an official release date and an exclusive sneak peek of the premiere episode.

Amphibia's third season is set to premiere on Disney Channel and DisneyNow on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 9:30 a.m. EST with a special, extended episode. Following the climactic Season 2 finale, Season 3 of the Emmy-nominated animated series finds Anne and the Plantars in the human world, with Anne finally able to return to her home in Los Angeles. A sneak peek from Season 3, Episode 1 was released today during The Owl House and Amphibia virtual crossover panel for Comic-Con@Home 2021. The clip shows Anne's worlds colliding as the Frog Family and the Bonchuys meeting for the first time.

The newest season will feature a plethora of guest stars like Whoopi Goldberg, RuPaul Charles (RuPaul's Drag Race), Kate Micucci (DuckTales), Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog), Archie Yates (Jojo Rabbit), Wallace Shawn (Young Sheldon), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Jason Ritter (Gravity Falls), Dana Davis (Craig of the Creek) and Melissa Villaseñor (Saturday Night Live). Season 3 will also feature a 22-minute Christmas special with a special song written by Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar.

Created and executive produced by Matt Braly (Gravity Falls), Season 3 of Amphibia premieres in Oct. 2021, with new episodes airing every Saturday until Nov. 27. Seasons 1 and 2 of Amphibia are currently available to stream on Disney+.
