American Horror Story's third season, Coven, explores witches, voodoo and all things occult. At Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies, a group of young witches prepares to attempt the Seven Wonders, a set of seven powers that signify the coven's next Supreme. While the girls ready for the test, Fiona Goode (Jessica Lange) schemes to cling to power by finding her replacement and killing her. In an attempt to out Misty Day (Lily Rabe) as the next Supreme, Fiona brings in the heavy guns -- Stevie Nicks, Misty's idol.

Coven marks the famed Fleetwood Mac singer and solo artist's acting debut and a surprising one at that. Rumors of being a witch long plagued Nicks throughout her career, primarily stemming from her aesthetic. As such, many Stevie Nicks fans were thrilled but surprised to see her in American Horror Story, with Nick's admitting she wouldn't have accepted the role 30 years ago. Although Nicks plays a fictional version of herself on the show, her appearance extends beyond a simple cameo, and her White Witch character even sports her own set of magical powers.

Who Is Stevie Nicks in AHS?

In Coven, Stevie Nicks is, well, still Stevie Nicks. However, the fictionalized version of the singer has also earned the title of the White Witch. She remains relatively mysterious throughout the season, but Fiona Goode refers to her as an old friend. Together, they take bets on whether Misty will faint when meeting the Queen of Rock. Still, the majority of Nick's screen time involves her performing various Fleetwood Mac and solo hits, including "Rhiannon" and "Has Anyone Written Anything For You?." Later, Nicks sings "Seven Wonders," which coincides with the girl's Seven Wonder's test.

Outside of Coven, Nicks returns to the American Horror Story Universe in Apocalypse, where she reprises the role of White Witch. Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) calls upon her to cheer Misty up after her resurrection, so Nicks sings "Gypsy" while dancing with the adoring witch.

Upon her introduction, Fiona tells Misty that no matter how hard Fiona tries, she can't get Nicks to play in the shadows with her. The comment explains Nick's title as the White Witch, confirming Nicks doesn't participate in darker magic. Aside from Fiona's remark, Nicks displays two of the Seven Wonders: Telekinesis and Transmutation.

Nicks uses her telekinetic power to close the door after performing "Seven Wonders" and wishing the girls luck on their test. She also displays the power again in Apocalypse when opening the doors of the Hawthorne School for Exceptional Young Men. While singing "Seven Wonder," Nicks also utilizes Transmutation as she teleports around the house. While the rock and roll star's powers end there, it still confirms American Horror Story's Stevie Nicks is a powerful witch in her own right.
