American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy announced on Instagram that Arrow and Teen Wolf alum Colton Haynes has joined the upcoming seventh season of the hit anthology horror series.

The image, which Haynes also shared on his own Instagram account, shows the actor with bleached-blond hair and bloody red lips. In his accompanying post, Murphy wrote, "Welcome to American Horror Story, Colton Haynes," while Haynes added, "American Horror Story Season 7... Already feels like home :) So excited."

There aren't many known details about American Horror Story's seventh season. Murphy has revealed the story will draw inspiration from the 2016 U.S. presidential election, with the first episode taking place on Election Night. Additionally, Murphy released an image in May featuring what appeared to be someone wearing an elephant mask. The lips on that mask were also made up with a thick red lipstick, which might indicate a relationship between Haynes' character and the person in the mask.

Haynes, who played Roy Harper/Arsenal on Arrow, guest-starred in the second season of Murphy's Scream Queens.

Premiering in September on FX, the seventh season of American Horror Story also stars Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson and Billy Eichner.
