Warning: The following contains major spoilers for American Horror Stories Season 1, Episode 1, "Rubber(wo)Man Part One," and Episode 2, "Rubber(wo)Man Part Two," now streaming on Hulu.

As fans eagerly await American Horror Story's Season 10 premiere, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk deliver more horror content with the anthology series American Horror Stories. The spin-off kicked off with a two-part episode that brought audiences back to a familiar location: the Murder House. Michael (Matt Bomer) and Troy (Gavin Creel), along with their teenage daughter Scarlett (Sierra McCormick), purchase the home to turn it into a haunted bed and breakfast. However, they soon realize they've taken on more than they bargained for. Along with some new faces, the Murder House's halls contain more than a few nods to AHS: Murder House and Roanoke.

Rubber Man

American Horror Story - Murder House Rubber Man

American Horror Stories made waves when debuting a teaser poster and trailer featuring a mysterious Rubber Woman. While theories surmounted about who the female figure could be, "Rubber(wo)Man Part One" put them to rest when introducing Scarlett as the Rubber Woman. Upon arriving at the house, supernatural occurrences lead Scarlett to a closet where she discovers the suit once worn by various Murder House occupants, including Chad Warwick, Ben Harmon, Michael Langdon and, most notably, Tate Langdon. Later, the Rubber Man makes a few cameos as his dark influence overtakes Scarlett.

Tate's Kill Bill Whistle

Evan Peters as Tate with skull in American Horror Story

Composed by Bernard Herrmann, "Twisted Nerve" was created for the 1968 film of the same before becoming a recognizable tune thanks to Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Since then, many unsuspecting killers have hummed it. In that regard, it makes sense why Tate eerily whistled the song while committing a brutal school shooting in Murder House. In American Horror Stories, the whistle reappears when Scarlett makes her first transformation into Rubber Woman.

Piggy Man

American Horror Story - Murder House Piggy Man

While he's briefly seen in Murder House Episode 6, "Piggy Piggy," the Piggy Man's shining role is in Roanoke. After stealing provisions from the colony, the deserter received a brutal punishment from the butcher, who forced him to wear a pig head before being roasted to death on a spick. After, the Piggy Man returned as a ghost to haunt the Roanoke House. Murder House implies the Piggy Man is an urban legend who can be summoned when standing in front of a mirror, akin to Bloody Mary. However, since this never occurred in American Horror Stories, it's unclear how the Piggy Man returned to Murder House.

Infantata

American Horror Story - Murder House Infantata

After Scarlett lures Maya (Paris Jackson) and the other mean girls into Murder House's basement, a familiar creature helps her take them out. Infantata, aka Thaddeus Montgomery, returns from AHS' first season. After the original owners of the house, Charles and Nora Montgomery's baby was killed, Charles went mad and reanimated his son, much like in Frankenstein. While Nora tried to care for him, Infantata proved more monster than child.

The Troublesome Twins

American Horror Story - Murder House twins

Murder House's mischievous twin ghosts return in American Horror Stories' debut to do what they do best -- create mischief. Like the other spirits, Troy and Bryan are doomed to spend an eternity in the home after breaking in and vandalizing it. Unfortunately, they crossed paths with Infantata, who made quick work of them.

The Other Therapist

American Horror Story - Murder House Ben Harmon

After Scarlett's therapist, Dr. Andi Grant, is slain by the Rubber Man, she too becomes a ghost. When conversing with Scarlett later, she frequently mentions the "other therapist" in the house. This is none other than Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott), a psychiatrist and one of Murder House's main characters.

The Nurse

American Horror Story - Murder House nurses (1)

"Rubber(wo)Man Part Two" opens with Ruby (Kaia Gerber) chasing and stabbing Gladys, the nurse. Gladys first appeared in Murder House's second episode, "Home Invasion." In the episode, Gladys and a fellow nursing student, Maria, are murdered by R. Franklin after he fakes an injury to gain access to the home. Later, when the Harmons move in, a deranged trio of young adults show up to reenact R. Franklin's murders.

New episodes of American Horror Stories air Thursdays on Hulu.
