During an appearance on "Larry King Now," "Arrow" star Stephen Amell discussed the separation between DC's cinematic and television universes and addressed the possibility of appearing in a potential "Green Arrow" film.

Asked if there would be a "Green Arrow" film, he said, "It has become easier to take properties on television and turn them into films, but I don't know."

After King brought up the fact that "The Flash's" Grant Gustin wasn't cast for "The Flash" film, he added, "The cinematic universe and the television universe are separate."

King then suggested that Amell might not be cast in a "Green Arrow" movie, to which Amell confirmed, "I might not be."

"I've spoken with people within DC and they've said there's no plan to bring the Green Arrow character to the cinematic universe, but things change," he concluded.

Starring Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey, "Arrow" will return to The CW this fall on Wednesdays at 8 pm EST.
