AMC has just released a trailer and scene from the next episode of "The Walking Dead." And, while the episode is titled "Sing Me a Song," it seems Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan) is more intent on delivering a sermon.

Aside from a few glimpses of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) waking up in the back of their truck, and a few snatches of Jesus (Tom Payne) dodging around, much of the footage in the trailer appeared in the previously-released weeks ahead promo.

Fans of the comic will already have a good idea of what to expect just from the episode's title alone, although it is always possible the show will make a further deviation from its source material. At least we can be reasonably certain that Chandler Riggs' character, Carl Grimes, will be safe, judging from his mom's recent social media posts, if nothing else.

The real fresh meat, or perhaps we should say, rotten flesh, comes in the form of a scene featuring Michonne (Danai Gurira) wandering along a road while whistling "A-Hunting We Will Go." Her tune attracts a couple of walkers, but this bothers Michonne not a bit, as she nonchalantly dispatches them both with her sword.

With all the death, torture and theatrics going on with the Saviors in recent weeks, watching a survivor quickly take down a couple of zombies provides some much-needed light relief. Of course, we don't know what happens to Michonne after that clip...

Airing Sundays at 9 pm ET/PT on AMC, “The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes, Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Melissa McBride as Carol Peleteir, Lauren Cohan as Maggie Green and Danai Gurira as Michonne.
