AMC announced this morning that its Emmy Award-winning drama Breaking Bad will return for its fourth season on Sunday, July 17, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The cable channel also released a trailer teasing the 13-episode run.
When last we left Walter White (three-time Emmy winner Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Emmy winner Aaron Paul), drug distributor Gus Fring ((Giancarlo Esposito) wanted an in-hiding Jesse dead, and was ready to execute Walter now that Gale (David Costabile) had been rehired to cook meth. Hoping to make himself invaluable to Gus, Walter sent Jesse to kill Gale, but -- well, Season 3 ended with a cliffhanger (nearly a year ago!).
If you need to catch up on Breaking Bad, AMC will make every episode of the third season available On Demand beginning June 20. In addition, the cable channel will air every episode from seasons on through three in late night, beginning July 5.
