Amber Tamblyn Joins <i>House</i>

With Olivia Wilde off amongst the Cowboys and Aliens, it'll take someone with some pretty impressive chops to fill in for her on Fox's House. Luckily, they've got a girl who can talk to God.

Joan of Arcadia's Amber Tamblyn has signed on for a recurring role in the new season of the Fox series, playing a brilliant young medical student hired by House to fill Thirteen's shoes who has problems with the ethically lax methods employed to solve cases - which sounds like Cameron, back when the show first started, to be honest. Does this mean the show's next season will be the year of retro...? As long as we don't have to suffer through Chase's moral "Is murder wrong?" issues again...
