Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios' television adaptation of 1997's hit teen slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer recently announced its starring cast.

The upcoming series will star Madison Iseman (Jumanji: The Next Level), Brianne Tju (Light as a Feather), Fiona Rene (Stumptown), Ashley Moore (Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Sebastian Amoruso (Solve), Cassie Beck (Connecting), Ezekiel Goodman, Brooke Bloom (Homecoming) and Bill Heck (I’m Your Woman), as confirmed by Deadline.

While it's unknown who the cast will play, the plot is expected to follow a similar one to the original film. Teens will once again be stalked by a mysterious killer who knows the secret surrounding a tragic accident on graduation night that changed the lives of a group of friends forever.

Iseman is known for her role in the Jumanji franchise as Bethany Walker. Tju starred in the hit Hulu series, Light as a Feather, and guest-starred in multiple series including The CW's iZombie and NBC's Chicago P.D. Rene is best known for her role as Kara Lee on ABC's Stumptown.

Moore made her acting debut alongside Adam Samberg in Popstar: Never Stop Stopping. Amoruso recently starred in Heathers the Musical and Prom Queen. Beck has a recurring role on NBC's Connecting. Finally, Bloom starred in Amazon Prime's Homecoming as well as the political satire, Alpha House. Heck currently stars in Netflix's Locke & Key.

The series will be penned by Sara Goodman (Preacher). Neal H. Moritz, who produced the original film, will serve as the show's executive producer alongside Goodman, Erik Feig, Shay Hatten, Pavun Shetty, Michael Clear, Rob Hackett and Aquaman director James Wan.

At the time of this writing, the series doesn't have a premiere date. However, production is expected to begin in January.
