Amazon Prime Videos' The Boys has issued a warning to fans asking for a Season 3 release date."Every time you ask when season 3 is coming out the release date moves back one day. See you in 2033!" The Boys' official Twitter account wrote. While details regarding the third season of the Amazon Studios original series are slowly being released, an official release has yet to be announced.

This is not the first time The Boys' Twitter account has teased fans about their desire for a Season 3 release date. In May, the account quote-tweeted a post from the MTV Movie and TV Awards account where fans submitted their questions for series star Jack Quaid to answer during the award show's Pop-Up Pre Show. The response from The Boys was a sarcastic, "wHeN iS sEaSoN 3???"

Season 3 of The Boys began filming in late Jan. 2021 after production delays due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Though the official premiere date has not been announced, showrunner Eric Kripke has teased a mind-blowing first episode, calling it both "insane" and "special." The Boys Twitter account also responded to Kripke saying the "editing room is fully covered in gore already and they're only working on episode 1."

Amazon Studios' The Boys stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander, Katia Winter as Little Nina and Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. Season 3 has yet to receive a premiere date.
