Amazon Studios' Jack Ryan television show has cast RoboCop star Marianne Jean-Baptiste for its third season.

According to Deadline, Jean-Baptiste will join Jack Ryan star John Krasinski in the Season 3 series regular role of Chief of Station Elizabeth Wright. Her previous acting roles include 1996's Secret and Lies, for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards, CBS's Training Day and Without a Trace, and NBC's Blindspot. Jean-Baptiste also starred in another Amazon series titled Homecoming. She can next be seen in Fatman alongside Mel Gibson and Walton Goggins.

While there is no release date for the third season, filming is expected to take place in 2021.

As Jack’s investigation threatens to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, the President of Venezuela launches a counter-attack that hits home for Jack, leading him and his fellow operatives on a global mission spanning the United States, UK, Russia, and Venezuela to unravel the President’s nefarious plot and bring stability to a country on the brink of chaos.

Jack Ryan is developed for television by showrunners Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Graham Roland (Fringe) and stars John Krasinski, Wendell Pierce and Abbie Cornish. Season 3 of the Amazon Prime series does not currently have a release date.
