Invincible first met the Teen Team in Invincible #2, where they broke up a fight between him and one of the Mauler Twins. Invincible would briefly join the team before its eventual dissolution and reformation into the new Guardians of the Globe, and Atom Eve was one of his classmates. The Teen Team has been confirmed to appear in the Invincible animated series, with images showcasing them alongside other characters from the Invincible mythos.

Invincible creators Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker are heavily involved with the animated series, with Walker providing character designs and Kirkman serving as an executive producer on the series. A brief clip from the series teases an adaptation of the first few issues of the comic -- including Mark Grayson discussing his abilities with his father before donning the costume and mantle of Invincible.

From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.
