British television series Truth Seekers will not be returning for a second season.

Nick Frost announced the show's cancellation on his Instagram. "Whatever timezone you're in, get ready to be rocked for some bad news. And that news is this. Sadly, Truth Seekers will not be returning for a second season," Frost said. "Truth Seekers has not been renewed, which is a massive kick in the willy for me."

"We really put our all into this, our heart and soul, and blood in some cases," Frost continued. "So to not come back is really sad for us and it's a shame. I think we had lots of lovely ghost stories to tell, stories that will remain now untold. If you liked the show, thank you, we really appreciate your support and stuff. And if you didn't, well -- you happy now?! Hm? Happy now?"

Truth Seekers was created by comedy duo Frost and Simon Pegg. The eight-episode horror/sci-fi comedy follows the story of Gus Roberts (played by Frost), an engineer at British internet provider Smyle who moonlights as an amateur paranormal investigator, uploading his minimal discoveries onto a YouTube channel called "Truth Seekers." However, when Gus meets rookie engineer Elton John (played by Samson Kayo), the two become embroiled in real-life ghost adventures.

Starring Nick Frost, Samson Kayo, Emma D'Arcy, Susan Wokoma, Malcolm McDowell and Simon Pegg, the eight-episode first season of Truth Seekers is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
