Amazing Spider-Man Site Seeks Help Finding Webbed Menace

J. Jonah Jameson isn't the only one who dislikes Spider-Man. You can also add New York City Police Captain George Stacy to the list, as you can see from this wanted poster and the video taken from a Daily Bugle News report on WebbedMenace.com.

The site encourages people to upload their own images of their not-so-friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Calling the number in the video -- 877-651-8503 -- takes you to a message recorded by a female voice explaining the website and encouraging people to visit and help weed out the Web Head.

The video is the latest in an ever-expanding viral campaign for Sony's Amazing Spider-Man, featuring Denis Leary. The video directly references the spray-painted Spidey symbols seen on the updated Mark of the Spider-Man website, which now has this video posted as well.

Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Campbell Scott, C. Thomas Howell, Embeth Davidtz and Annie Parisse. The film opens July 3.
