Starting this October, Spider-Man is teaming with on-again/off-again lover/ally/enemy Black Cat in a three-part story in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man.

Beginning in October's Amazing Spider-Man #8, the story arc will see Spidey cross paths with the mysterious Thieves Guild of New York to help solve a massive heist . Across the three issues, written by Nick Spencer and illustrated by Humberto Ramos, Spider-Man will enter an uneasy alliance with the former crime lord as the duo attempt to find the true culprits involved.

The storyline will feature a variant cover for October's Amazing Spider-Man #8 drawn by J.G. Jones and colored by Paul Mounts while November's Amazing Spider-Man #9 will feature a variant cover by the late Mike Wieringo with Wieringo's pencils inked by Tim Townshend and colored by Jason Keith. Finally, November's Amazing Spider-Man #10, closing out the story, will have a variant cover drawn by J. Scott Campbell and colored by Nei Ruffino. The gallery of all three variant covers is below:

The upcoming Spider-Man/Black Cat team-up coincides with the release of the first DLC expansion to the Spider-Man video game on the PlayStation 4. Titled "The Heist" the DLC features the arrival of Black Cat on the PS4 game scheduled for release on October 23, the day before the comic book storyline begins.

Amazing Spider-Man #8, kicking off the three-part storyline, is written by Nick Spencer and illustrated by Humberto Ramos. It is scheduled to go on sale on October 24.
