Amazing Spider-Man, Ghost Rider Heading To Comic-Con 2011

Columbia Pictures' The Amazing Spider-Man and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will both have a presence at Comic-Con International, held July 21-24 in San Diego.

The Spider-Man announcement came in the form of a "Face of the Fan" contest in which the winner will receive a trip to the convention and a chance to interview the cast and crew.

The Ghost Rider confirmation, however, was delivered much less formally, via the Twitter account of directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor: "GRSOV update: this movie is fucking badass [...] can't wait to reveal the evolved GR...... comicon seems like a year away [...] not sure where the last one came from, but this GR comes from nightmares"

Directed by Marc Webb The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Campbell Scott, C. Thomas Howell, Julianne Nicholson and Annie Parisse. The film opens on July 3, 2012.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which opens on Feb. 17, 2012, stars Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, Johnny Whitworth, Ciarán Hinds, Violante Placido and Christopher Lambert.
