Marvel Comics provided CBR with an exclusive preview of the Amazing Spider-Man #6. The issue, which is also the 900th entry in the titular series in terms of legacy numbering, was written by Zeb Wells, penciled by Ed McGuinness, inked by Mark Morales, McGuinness, Wade Von Grawbadger and Cliff Rathburn, with Marcio Menyz, Dijjo Lima and Erick Arciniega on colors and VC's Joe Caramagna lettering.
In the preview, Spider-Man heads into the I.C.M. building for reasons unknown. Inside, he finds a robot printing out a piece of ticket-tape with a value on it. However, as the wall-crawler is reading the numbers, he gets accosted by an adaptoid that seems to be a combination of Kraven the Hunter, the Vulture, Mysterio, Sandman, Electro and Doctor Octopus, who together are the classic line-up for the Sinister Six.
The Sinister Six was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The team, which was made up of some of Spider-Man's earliest foes, first appeared in 1964's The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1, just a few short years after Peter Parker's debut in 1962's Amazing Fantasy #15. The SInister Six has had numerous variations over the years, but they've always remained one of Spider-Man's deadliest foes. A version of the group appeared in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home.
