In The Amazing Spider-Man #52, Peter Parker enlisted the help of Doctor Stephen Strange in his fight against the villainous Kindred, who used demonic versions of the wall-crawler's closest allies against him. At the end of that issue, Peter found Kindred holding a macabre dinner party, though exactly what was going on wasn't totally clear.

Marvel Comics has now given CBR and exclusive preview of Nick Spencer, Patrick Gleason, Edgar Delgado and VC's Joe Caramagna's The Amazing Spider-Man #52, which reveals more about what Kindred is doing. The preview reveals that those among Kindred's macabre party are George Stacy, Jean DeWolff, Marla Jameson, Flash Thompson Gwen Stacy and Ben Parker. After seeing what Kindred has done, Spider-Man attacks the villain, who is in actuality one of his closest former friends: Harry Osborn.

All of those among Kindred's death died high-profile deaths in past Spider-Man comics. Uncle Ben, for example, was a major factor in Peter choosing to use his newly acquired spider-powers for good, while Gwen Stacy was one of Peter's earliest love interests. She was killed by Green Goblin during Gerry Conway, Gil Kane, John Romita Sr. and Tony Mortellaro's "The Night Gwen Stacy Died" arc in 1973, though an alternate universe version of Gwen eventually made her way into the main Marvel Universe.

Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Peter Parker/Spider-Man first appeared in 1962's Amazing Fantasy #15. In his origin story, Peter gained superpowers after a radioactive spider bit him. Spider-Man and his adventures have been adapted into several movie and TV series, while there have been a large number of games either centered on the hero or featuring him in some way.
