Who doesn't love Konosuba, the popular isekai parody anime? Although the anime is only two short seasons long, there's always the light novels, and a movie on top of that (did you see it?). This anime pokes gentle fun at the sprawling isekai genre, where a somewhat sleazy teenager named Kazuma ends up in a fantasy world when he died of fright on the road.

Kazuma is an adventurer, though mostly just in name. He's very lucky, if nothing else, and teams up with the bumbling goddess Aqua, the explosion-loving witch Megumin, and the tough but silly crusader Darkness (she's actually a nice person). Colorful and hilarious anime series like these are ripe for some fantastic fan art, and now, let's browse a gallery of ten standouts.

10 Water Girl

Let's start with the goddess of water, Aqua. She is the first person Kazuma meets, acting rather lofty as she helps escort him to the new world. But Kazuma pulls a trick, and Aqua ends up as his companion. She doesn't exactly savor mundane life, having to work with her own two hands.

But she's looking pretty good here. This artist opted for an image that could easily be the cover of a Konosuba light novel, with a highly detailed and happy (and vaguely flirty) Aqua enticing the reader to open the cover and begin the adventure. The water effect is excellent, too. Very realistic.

9 Little Witch Explosion

When Megumin arrives on the scene, you'll know it, because this Crimson Demon will reshape the terrain with one of her trademark explosions! Though only 13 (later 14), she's a skilled magic user, and graduated magic school early.

In this fan art, Megumin is having the time of her life, and we just bet she's trying to decide where to set off her next detonation. The cartoony and vaguely chibi look is just right for the character, and just look at the detail on the emblem behind her!

8 A job badly done

Uh-oh. If Kazuma (left) and Megumin look this full of themselves, it's pretty likely that they got away with something pretty dishonest or crazy. These two characters sometimes get along pretty well, and they seem to have similar personalities. Kazuma is always willing to let Megumin ride on his back, too.

The expressions on these two are just what we'd expect of them, and it brings both Kazuma and Megumin right to life. And if you didn't notice it at first, Kazuma has a distinct green aura that's richest closest to his body, and Megumin has a red aura. See her right hand?

7 The crusader

Now it's time for Darkness, the armored crusader on Kazuma's ill-fated adventurer team. This blonde warrior is a noblewoman, and she is the most level-headed and sensible member of their group... until the action starts, that is.

Darkness looks a bit like something from Kingdom Hearts here, and it's a fine look for a comedy like Konosuba. Like a true hero, Darkness stands tall and has her sword planted in the ground, while rays of sunlight fall upon her. The illusion will get shattered when Darkness gets trampled in combat, though (and enjoys it).

6 Girlfriends

Megumin is quite the spellcaster, but she's not the one of her kind. In fact, she hails from the clan of Crimson Demons, and in the Konosuba movie, we meet them. Yunyun is among them, being Megumin's self-proclaimed rival.

The other girls at the magic school there all look up to Megumin, and it's nice to see the girls get together for a timeless photo in this piece of fan art. All of the colors and details look just right, and it looks like such a sunny and pleasant day. And just look at all those red eyes!

5 After a long day

Here's another group picture, this one featuring the primary adventuring party. It's common for fiction like this to have a "laying in a group" image, and it's only natural for Konosuba fan art to do the same.

We can tell they just finished a tough mission, because Kazuma is frazzled at all the nonsense, Megumin is satisfied with her last explosion, Aqua is in tears, and Darkness is having way too much fun getting her butt kicked. It's Konosuba in a nutshell!

4 Adventurers

If the last image shows the squad after a rough mission, this shows what they're like right before it starts. Despite all the setbacks, Kazuma and the others are sure that they can land a good-paying mission and collect a fine reward.

They're pretty hit and miss about this, but at least the girls are looking pretty enthusiastic. Aqua is in a pretty good mood today, and Megumin is always up for some fun. Darkness takes up the rear, looking a bit shy but happy.

3 Nezu-min

Okay, there's already a lot of Megumin in here, but we couldn't resist. Have you watched the popular new anime Demon Slayer? If so, you remember the demon girl Nezuko, the darling of the fandom.

Looks like she's had just about enough of all these evil demons! It's hilarious and charming to see Nezuko dress up for battle, Crimson Demon style, and Tanjiro had better stay clear of the blast radius. Now this is a party member Kazuma needs.

2 Shop owner wiz

We've seen a lot of art for the three main girls. Now how about the lovely supporting character Wiz? She is one of the Devil King's generals, but you wouldn't guess it. Wiz is soft spoken and pretty, and she runs a shop.

This chibi look is just right for her, and her idle expression and the warm sunlight coming in through the window all captures her character. Funny, since she's good at using ice in battle. But when you visit your shop, she gives you a warm welcome.

1 Gaze at the sunset

And now, the list concludes with this optimistic, and positively stunning, piece of Konosuba fan art. All four main adventurers are standing atop a city wall, watching the sun go down. It's a cheerful scene, and it's nice to see the good guys have a fine moment.

Not to mention that detail! The stone looks realistic, and the terrain, clouds, and setting sun are just like the real thing. It looks more real-to-life than the anime itself, and we must also compliment the lighting effects as the four heroes face the sun. This image looks so realistic and 3-D, you could just step right into it.
