With Marvel's upcoming comic book crossover, War of the Realms, weeks away, the publisher has unveiled a new variant cover for the debut issue.

Illustrated by Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn), the variant cover shows the heroes of the Marvel Universe and Norse villains of Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman's crossover bonding over a party.

From Captain Marvel beating the crossover's central antagonist, Malekith, over a board game to Odin admiring the Punisher's assault rifle, everyone on the variant appears to be having a good, low-stakes time for the most part as Loki mischievously scrawls graffiti on the symbols for the nine realms in the background.

Interestingly, the cover also confirms a cosmic change for Daredevil with the superhero appearing to possess the Asgardian powers of Heimdall, the all-seeing. Matt Murdock's costume appears imbued with his new powers as he participates in a game of darts with Black Panther and a dark elf.
