Netflix's first teaser for Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead teases the return of a surprising character.

In a new teaser released for Netflix's Geeked Week, the four main cast members of the Korean zombie-apocalypse coming-of-age drama, All of Us Are Dead, confirmed that the show would return for a second season. "Thank you to the Netflix fans worldwide for giving so much love to All of Us Are Dead Season 1," star Yoon Chan-young said in the teaser. Chan-young portrays Lee Cheong-san, who was bitten in the Season 1 finale and presumed dead, making his appearance in the teaser a pleasant surprise.

Along with Chan-young, the video also featured messages from the rest of the main cast, including Park Ji-hu, who plays Nam On-jo, Cheong-san's neighbor and childhood friend; Cho Yi-hyun, who plays class president Choi Nam-ra; Lomon as reformed delinquent Lee Su-hyeok. Per the brief description of the Season 2 teaser provided by Netflix, "The students of Hyosan High School may have survived their first zombie outbreak, but the nightmare is far from over…"

Created by Chun Sung-li, Lee Jae-kyoo and Kim Nam-su, All of Us Are Dead is based on the webtoon, Now at Our School by Joo Don-geun which was published between 2009 and 2011. Like the webtoon, the Netflix series follows students at a South Korean high school as they fight for their survival after a zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks out and threatens their lives. All of Us Are Dead premiered on Netflix in January 2022 and was officially renewed for a second installment in June.

After a science experiment goes wrong, Hyosan High School in South Korea becomes ground zero for a major zombie outbreak, causing the government to leave the surviving students cut off from the outside world, without food or water, but with plenty of drama between them. The cliffhanger finale of Season 1 saw six survivors rescued and quarantined by the government, Cheong-san bitten and considered dead and class president Nam-ra now a half-zombie as well.

Apart from the main cast members Park, Yoon, Cho and Lomon, All of Us Are Dead also stars Yoo In-soo as Yoon Gwi-nam, the series main antagonist; Squid Game star Lee Yoo-mi as Lee Na-yeon, Kim Byung-chul as Lee Byeong-chan, Lee Kyu-hyung as Song Jae-ik and Jeon Bae-soo as Nam So-ju.

Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead does not yet have a release date, but will premiere on Netflix.
