WHO IS ALL FOR ONE?

All For One In My Hero Academia

Years before the events of My Hero Academia, All For One fought against All Might, with the superhero gravely wounding his nemesis. As a result, most of the villain's head is comprised of scar tissue, andAll For One wears a mask to cover his devastated visage, fitted with breathing tubes to aid with respiration, not unlike Darth Vader's own personal life support system.

Carrying a deep grudge against All Might for the disfiguring defeat, All For One sought to use his powers to bring order to the world by any means necessary, exacerbating tensions between regular humans and super-powered individuals that possessed Quirks to consolidate and expand his power base. All For One would form the clandestine League of Villains to further his nefarious agenda from the shadows, while planning his revenge against All Might.

HOW STRONG IS ALL FOR ONE?

All For One possesses one of the most powerful Quirks -- My Hero Academia's term for superpowers -- with the ability to steal other individual's Quirks to use for himself. This technique has given All For One a vast array of Quirks at his immediate disposal including superhuman strength, speed, endurance, flight and more. All For One's blindness following the loss of his eyes against All Might is remedied through echolocation, not unlike Daredevil, as well as infrared vision he presumably acquired from a hapless victim.

One of All For One's most potent abilities allows him to trigger other individual's Quirks against their well through the use of strange, darkened extensions from his fingertips. Additionally, All For One can produce thick, black liquids that serve as a portal for the villain to transport himself great distances with relative ease, using them to return to the League of Villains' secret headquarters to avoid detection and incarceration.

WHERE IS HE NOW?

As All For One recovered from his battle against All Might, he befriended a young boy named Tomura Shigaraki and groomed him to become his eventual successor. Unfazed by Tomura's initial inability to defeat All Might himself, All For One has his protege monitor Izuku Midoriya after the boy enrolls at U.A High School to become a Pro Hero, sensing he potentially poses a great threat for the League of Villains.

After the Pro Heroes and police raid the League of Villains' headquarters, All For One defeats several Pro Heroes by himself before entering an explosive rematch against All Might. Taunting the hero over the murder of his mentor years earlier, the two engage in a brutal fight. As All Might expends much of his energy, revealing his true, frail state to the public, All For One shocks him with the revelation that Tomura is All Might's grandson. While All Might is eventually successful in defeating All For One, he expends all of his remaining power, with All For One gloating over the outcome from prison.
