All Elite Wrestling hosted Night One of its two-week Fyter Fest on July 1. However, among the action and championship clashes was a surreal segment fans may have missed advertising an unexpected addition to Fyter Fest Night Two: a Puppy Battle Royale.

The short clip opens up with ominous, cinematic music accompanied by AEW announcer Jim Ross, who declares how "This will be a main event for the ages. It will not be for the weak at heart." Text on the screen then teases how the AEW audience is in for a new event that will take place "For the first time in AEW history."

After a 5-second count down and a Royal Rumble-esque buzzer blaring, the footage cuts to a montage sequence of cute puppies playing and sniffing around a toy AEW ring. There's even what appears to be a puppy in Orange Cassidy sunglasses and a referee plushie that takes a nasty bump as happy, upbeat xylophone music plays. The graphic then switches to reveal that fans can expect AEW's first-ever Puppy Battle Royale next week.

The match joins a stacked card that features AEW Team Champions Kenny Omega and Hangman Page taking on Private Party, who will be accompanied by Matt Hardy. "Le Champion" Chris Jericho also takes on Best Friends' Orange Cassidy, and FTR team up with The Young Bucks to go up against the team of The Butcher and The Blade and Lucha Brothers in eight-man tag team action.

AEW Fyter Fest Night Two takes place July 8 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT.
