All Elite Wrestling has revealed yet another piece of artwork as part of its collaboration with DC Comics, this time featuring wrestler Nyla Rose. Rose made history earlier this year, becoming the first openly transgender woman to sign with a major American professional wrestling promotion when she officially joined AEW back in February.
Shared by the official All Elite Wrestling on TNT Twitter account, the artwork of Rose comes from artist Robson Rocha (Aquaman, Supergirl). It depicts her with an angry look on her face and her hands raised towards the sky, no doubt striking fear into the heart of her next opponent. The post's caption reads, "Nyla Rose on the rise. Will she be the inaugural AEW Women's World Champion?"
Rose is only the latest AEW wrestler to be immortalized as part of the supervillain-themed DC crossover, with artwork previously being released for the likes of Jungle Express, Awesome Kong, Jon Moxley and current AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
AEW recently announced its Wednesday night, two-hour program will be called Dynamite. It will air in a head-to-head ratings competition against WWE's NXT, which has moved from the WWE Network streaming service to USA Network. Dynamite's debut will mark the return of professional wrestling to the TNT network, which was once the home of WCW Monday Nitro, prior to World Championship Wrestling closing its doors in 2001.
All Elite Wrestling and DC's supervillain weekend kicks off on Friday, Sept. 27.
