With Alita: Battle Angel opening in theaters everywhere in less than three months, new photos from the cyberpunk manga adaptation offer a better look at two of the film's cybernetic villains.

Ed Skrein and Jackie Earle Haley will appear as the cyborgs Zapan and Grewishka, respectively, as two high-tech opponents for the titular character. The images, released through Empire Magazine, show Rosa Salazar's Alita about to knock around Skrein's Zapan, who has executive producer James Cameron's favorite character design in the film.

The other image shows Haley transformed through CGI and motion-capture to portray the over-sized cyborg bruiser Grewishka with his own set of high-tech abilities.

"He’s got brute strength but he’s also empowered by these cyber-doctors," explained Haley in an interview with Empire. "One of his skills is that he’s got these talon-like fingers that can shoot across the room, pierce just about anything, and snap back just as fast."
