The first red band teaser for “Alien: Covenant” was for all those people with lingering doubts about whether the movie would be scary and true to the original “Alien.” Then, we got the full trailer a couple days ago, showing off the Xenomorph monstrosities in all their frightening glory. Now, a second red band trailer to Ridley Scott’s upcoming sci-fi/horror movie has arrived.

While the majority of the footage is the same as the initial “Alien: Covenant trailer,” and not as frightening as the original red band teaser, this one does showcases a little more blood and some choice swearing. There are still Alien attacks left and right, and little Xenomorphs forcibly removing themselves from their hapless victims’ bodies; in short, it's obvious "Alien: Covenant” won’t be holding anything back. To anyone who might be concerned about whether there will be enough blood and guts, rest assured, you have nothing to worry about -- producer Mark Huffam has already talked about how they used over a thousand liters of fake blood during production.

Opening May 19, “Alien: Covenant” stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby.
