Actor Angelina Jolie stars in an upcoming film centered around her character's children -- Alice and Peter -- attempting to cheer their family up after the death of their eldest son.

Come Away, re-imagines a fantastical world where Alice (Keira Chansa) from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Peter (Jordan Nash) from J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan are siblings. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 24 and is set for a U.S. release on Nov. 13.

As the trailer shows, the plot focuses on how their family life is disrupted after the death of their family's eldest son. Both Alice and Peter, in their own way, try to remedy the situation for their parents, breaking them away from their grief. This work forces the children to ultimately choose between resolving their parents' despair or descending into the world of imagination, setting up both siblings for their own individual adventures into Wonderland and Neverland.

In the trailer, we see Jolie's character Rose Littleton tell Alice that, "Every child has a fairy born just for them. Tinker's bell was born for you." This quote is referencing what Disney fans know as Peter's quasi-guardian fairy, Tinker-Bell, who follows him in his adventures. It seemingly suggests Tinker-Bell was Alice's fairy, but at some point in their lives, Tinker-Bell decided to guard Peter instead.

The voiceover announces that this story is about Alice, who was always in a hurry to grow up, and Peter, who always wanted to have more adventures, and how their approaches to their tragedy differed. Alice says, "I don't want to help." Peter, instead, seemingly rallies a troop of Lost Boys, after his father tells him to not let life get him down, but instead, to rise above it.
