Alex Garner’s Immortal Hulk Variant Is Cooler Than You

Illustrator Alex Garner has revealed his Eastside Comics variant cover for Marvel Comics Immortal Hulk #22, which is due for release early next month.

The cover, which Garner shared on Twitter, features Bruce Banner proving that just because you're an enormous rage monster, doesn't mean you can't also be cool. A gray-skinned Hulk, aka Joe Fixit, is seen with a sly grin on his face as he lifts his broken, bright green sunglasses to look down at the viewer with his equally green eyes.

A prominent comic book cover artist, Garner has lent his talents to the likes of Marvel and DC -- among other publishers -- numerous times over the years, creating covers for such titles as Batgirl, Squadron Supreme, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Guardians of the Galaxy and New Exiles.

Additionally, he wrote the IDW Publishing's comic book comic book adaptation of the Konami video game Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, which ran from 2005 to 2007.
