The Batman mythology will soon make a big impact on NBC's DC Comics sitcom "Powerless," when the show airs its next episode on February 23. Entertainment Weekly has revealed two new promo pics from the installment that show actor Alan Tudyk rocking Robin's super suit.

One of the episode's storylines will follow the employees of Wayne Security (played by Tudyk, Danny Pudi and Ron Funches) as they go on a mission to track down the Dark Knight after coming across one of Batman's batarangs. According to EW, Alan Tudyk -- who plays Bruce Wayne's cousin Van -- will use the opportunity to bust out an elaborate Robin costume. With it's rubberized texture, heavily defined muscles and nipples, the suit looks like it came out of the Joel Schumacher era.

As the episode's title ("Emily Dates a Henchman") indicates, Vanessa Hudgens' character will end up romantically entangled with one of the Riddler's henchmen. You can check out the episode synopsis below.

After being urged by her team, Emily (Vanessa Hudgens) sets her sights on the dating world but unknowingly falls for one of the Riddler’s henchmen (guest star Robert Buckley). Meanwhile, Teddy (Danny Pudi) and Ron (Ron Funches) find a Batman artifact and discover Van’s (Alan Tudyk) superhero fantasy. Christina Kirk also stars. Jennie Pierson recurs.

Set within the DC Universe, NBC’s new workplace comedy is set at the Wayne Enterprises subsidiary that specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer as they try not to become collateral damage in the battles between superheroes and supervillains.

The show debuted earlier this month on NBC, debuting to so-so ratings. The debut episode attracted just 3.1 million viewers for its debut. The follow-up episode, February 9th's "Wayne Dream Team," fell a bit in the ratings, bringing in 2.53 million viewers. Ahead of the show's premiere, it was revealed that a Justice League member from the comics will soon join the cast of the show. That Leaguer is Fire, as showrunner Patrick Schumacker revealed.

“Right now, we’re actually writing a script where Fire – aka Green Fury, Green Flame, whatever you want to call her; we’re actually calling her Green Fury right now – even though she wants to be called Fire, nobody seems to get the hint – makes an appearance in a few episodes to actually round out the first season,” Schumacker told CBR. Fire will be played by "Parks and Recreation" actor Natalie Morales.

Airing Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, “Powerless” stars Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches and Christina Kirk.
