Is Al Pacino about to make his Marvel? The Oscar-winning actor recently appeared on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he said he's talked with the studio about potential project.

"I've met with the Marvel guy," Pacino said. "It's a Marvel how things happen [Laughs]."

He also praised Guardians of the Galaxy, and confirmed "the Marvel guy" he referred to his studio President Kevin Feige. The actor began to elaborate, but he was interrupted by a phone call. "Yeah. I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me and if I feel-" At that point he joked that the call was coming from Feige, and he didn't continue.

Pacino revealed in September he'd be interested in a role in a Marvel film, saying, “I would do anything that I could understand in terms of how I fit in it. And you know, of course if I could fit in it. Anything’s possible. You know, I did Dick Tracy and I got an Oscar nomination, so come on. I mean, what can I say?”

He would join the likes of Robert Redford, Glenn Close and Michael Douglas in the swelling ranks of marquee talent to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With no more details or information at this point, the speculation fun begins. Given Marvel's upcoming slate of films, where do you think Pacino would fit in best?
