Star Wars spinoff series Ahsoka will include multiple fights between Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen), according to a new report.

Making Star Wars cites several unnamed sources who all claim that Ahsoka and Vader will duel "in more than one way" in the upcoming Disney+ show. These insiders also allege that Christensen underwent training to perform at least some of Sith Lord's lightsaber choreography, as the star's face will be visible for one of his showdowns with his former padawan. During this clash, Christensen will supposedly wear the same costume he wore as the fallen Anakin Skywalker during the finale of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, instead of Vader's iconic armor. Lucasfilm is yet to officially confirm how Darth Vader factors into Ahsoka's plot, which means that any reports relating to Ahsoka and Vader fighting in the spinoff should be taken with a grain of salt for now.

Word that Ahsoka and her one-time master will square off again in Ahsoka arrives hot on the heels of other tantalizing rumors regarding the hotly-anticipated show's story and characters. Most notably, a recent report maintains that Ahsoka will explore a new corner of the Star Wars universe. Known as either "The New Beyond" or "New Space," this previously unexplored location is situated in either the outer reaches of the franchise's galaxy far, far away or in a separate galaxy entirely. What's more, the New Beyond/New Space will reportedly be home to cultures with a more mystical view of (and use for) The Force.

Will Ahsoka Feature the Nightsisters?

This hitherto uncharted region will also be established as the place of origin for the magic users already at large in Star Wars canon, a report claims. This includes Dark Side coven the Nightsisters, who will apparently appear in Ahsoka, too. Sources close to the production claim that star Ivanna Sakhno will portray one of the Nightsisters, who are also known as the Witches of Dathomir. That said, other insiders insist that Sakhno is actually portraying the live-action version of Star Wars Rebels character Hera Syndulla. Lucasfilm has not publicly announced who Sakhno is playing in Ahsoka, so fans will have to wait until closer to the show's release to find out.

Rumors also persist regarding the casting of fan-favorite character Grand Admiral Thrawn in Ahsoka. Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen, who voiced Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels, remains the frontrunner to fill the role, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Ahsoka is expected to premiere sometime in 2023.
