Aggretsuko has been taking Netflix audiences by storm ever since April of 2018, but it actually started out as a collection of one-hundred shorts that aired in Japan between April 2016 and March 2018. Those same original shorts are actually available to Western audiences through the worldwide Aggretsuko mobile game, where players can unlock the subtitled shorts through playing the game — however, they have not been dubbed in English.

When it comes to dubbing, a lot of fans feel that the acting pales in comparison to the original Japanese. In Aggretsuko's case, however, the lineup is absolutely wonderful. There's not a single character whose English voice feels as if it doesn't suit them. From Erica Mendez to Tara Platt and Griffin Burns, there are all sorts of talented voiceover artists that fans may recognize from other media.

10 Erica Mendez (Retsuko): Kill La Kill & Sailor Moon

It's impossible to be familiar with Aggretsuko without also knowing of its titular protagonist, the hard-working office worker, Retsuko. She prefers to vent her everyday stresses through heavy metal. As of Season 4, she's grown a sizable online following due to her "Death Voice" line of videos.

Erica Mendez does a fantastic job playing Retsuko's character and shines in all of her other roles as well. These include popular favorites like Ryuko Matoi from Kill La Kill and Haruka Tenoh from the Sailor Moon franchise.

9 Josh Petersdorf (Director Ton): League Of Legends & Overwatch

Director Ton starts out as an incredibly likable and even antagonistic type of character. However, as time passes and viewers get more insight into his life, this begins to change. By Season 4, he's reconciled enough with Retsuko to be able to work under her and even help her with incredibly personal matters involving Haida.

He's voiced by John Petersdorf, and while he doesn't really have other roles in the realm of television, he's voiced some incredibly popular video game characters. These include Galio from League Of Legends and Roadhog from Overwatch.

8 Benjamin Diskin (Haida): Naruto Shippuden & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Haida is Retsuko's coworker who's had an unrequited crush on her since the very start of the series. The two give dating a try in the fourth season, but things end up complicated after Haida takes over as the new director. The end of Season 4 leaves their relationship status up in the air once again.

He's voiced by Benjamin Diskin, an incredibly talented voice actor who's capable of a wide range of voices. This is shown in his work as Sai — as well as a bunch of minor characters — from Naruto Shippuden, and Joseph Joestar from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Gori is one of the most upbeat and ambitious characters in the entire series. She's over-emotional, but this isn't a bad thing, as she balances out her best friend and coworker Washimi's more serious and reserved demeanor.

G.K. Bowes does a fantastic job bringing not only Gori to life in the dub, but Tsunoda as well — and their voices sound wildly different, so that's quite the feat. She also breathes life into Mairu Orihara from Durarara!! and Moonlight Cookie from Cookie Run: Kingdom.

6 Tara Platt (Washimi): Persona 3 & The Naruto Franchise

Washimi is the secretary of the C.E.O at Carrier Man Trading, and is a large part of why the company functions as well as it's able to. Her serious, take-no-attitude personality helps when it comes to stopping the C.E.O from spending money on pointless endeavors that would only cost the company.

She's voiced by Tara Platt, who has quite a history of voicing beloved female characters in the realms of both video games and animation. She's the voice actress responsible for performances such as Mitsuru Kirijo and Elizabeth from Persona 3 and Temari from the Naruto franchise.

5 Todd Haberkorn (Komiya): Fairy Tail & Soul Eater

Komiya is Ton's right-hand man, and is always there to cheer him up or delegate work onto others if Ton deems it necessary. While originally very harsh on Retsuko, it's revealed he runs a super-popular idol fan blog, and he becomes a fan of hers due to the work she does with the OTMGirls in Season 3.

He's voiced by Todd Haberkorn, one of the most well-known dubbers in the industry. Some of his most notable roles are Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail and Death The Kid from Soul Eater.

4 Max Mittelman (Resasuke): Persona 5 & One Punch Man

Resasuke is Retsuko's first attempt at romance that's shown in the series. He's a soft-spoken individual who isn't all too interested in romance, and is moreso goaded by his coworker to ask Retsuko out. He's a bit inattentive, but he's not a bad guy.

Although it can be hard to tell from how soft-spoken Resasuke is compared to many of his dubber's roles, he's voiced by Max Mittelman. Mittelman is known for roles such as Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5 and Saitama from One-Punch Man.

3 Billy Kametz (Anai): Neon Genesis Evangelion & Cells At Work!

anai english va billy kametz

Anai starts as a high-strung antagonist for Retsuko at the start of Season 2, but he just needs time to settle in as well as acceptance from fellow co-worker Kabai. He ends up becoming an integral part of the series, caring deeply for his coworkers and showing off his superb cooking skills.

He's voiced by Billy Kametz, who does an excellent job portraying both Anai's calm side as well as the outbursts he's known for. He's also voiced characters such as Shigeru Aoba from Neon Genesis Evangelion and White Blood Cell from Cells At Work!.

2 Griffin Burns (Tadano): Genshin Impact & Kakegurui

Tadano has been a fan-favorite ever since his introduction in Season 2. He's incredibly wealthy but doesn't flaunt it or let it go to his head, and has dreams of every person being able to step away from the capitalist structure and be able to do what truly makes them happy — a sentiment that rings true with many young workers today.

He's voiced by Griffin Burns, who's a perfect fit for his laid-back personality. He brings his all to other fan-favorite roles, such as Tartaglia/Childe from Genshin Impact, and even lesser protagonist roles like Ryota Suzui from Kakegurui.

1 Abby Trott (Inui): Demon Slayer & Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Inui is a character introduced in Season 3 that quickly gained popularity with fans for her know-what-she-wants attitude. She shares a ton of interests with Haida and the two seem quite compatible, but she becomes tired of him being stuck between wanting to pursue her and being afraid to give up his several-year-long crush on Retsuko.

She's voiced by Abby Trott, who does a great job bringing her to life. She's had other notable roles in animation as well as video games. She's done amazing work dubbing other characters, such as Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer and Maya Fey from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
