Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are taking a trip down memory lane -- literally.

In Season 7, Phil Coulson and his team will go on adventure through time, starting with a blast from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s past in 1931. Jeff Ward, who plays Fitz and Simmons' grandson Deke, shared new photos from the season premiere on his Instagram with the caption, "Wednesday, May 27, 10pm. We back in 1931."

Ward shared four pictures: two of himself in a scally cap and period appropriate clothing; a behind-the-scenes shot of Coulson actor Clark Gregg and Henry Simmons (Mack) checking their phones while in costume; and a group photo of Ward, Simmons and Quake actor Chloe Bennet with some paperboys.

In the Season 6 finale, the S.H.I.E.L.D. team discovered the chromicom race intended to colonize Earth because their planet had been destroyed by the Shrike. Since S.H.I.E.L.D. outwitted them at every turn, the chromicons plan to eradicate the organization -- from history and otherwise. So, Fitz and Simmons retrofitted Zephyr One for time travel and teleportation capabilities with a little help from their chronicom friend Enoch. Now, they will travel through time to stop the chronicom threat from ending S.H.I.E.L.D. before it can even begin.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Iain De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge and Clark Gregg. Season 7 premieres Wednesday, May 27 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
