Graviton, meet Qovas. In a new clip from "The One Who Will Save Us All," the next episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Phil Coulson and Glenn Talbot confront the Confederacy -- and Talbot has a few demands of his own.
The clip begins on Qovas' alien warship, shortly after the conclusion of last week's episode. "You dare to approach my ship?" Qovas asks as Talbot and Coulson enter the room. While Coulson seems a bit nervous about the ensuing conversation, Talbot is all swagger.
When Qovas reveals that he isn't interested in negotiating, Talbot steps in. "I think there's a misunderstanding. You see, this is my ship," Talbot interjects, much to Coulson's horror. Talbot then flexes his new gravitonium-based powers by crushing one of Qovas' body guards to death. Despite Coulson's protestations, Talbot demands that Qovas kneel before him.
Last week, the Lighthouse fell under siege by the Marauders, brutal alien invaders sent by Qovas. In an attempt to save his friends, Talbot used the particle infusion chamber to bond his cells with gravitonium, which led him to become the Marvel villain Graviton. As Graviton, Talbot possesses gravity-based powers, which enabled him to destroy the Marauders and ascend with Coulson to Qovas' warship.
