As viewers saw during the season premiere, "Agent's Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) and Daisy's (Chloe Bennet) relationship got off to a rocky start. After tracking the firy newcomer down, Daisy confronted the Spirit Of Vengeance head-on, resulting in Ghost Rider getting the upper hand. He had the opportunity to kill Quake, and still feeling guilty about the events that led to Lincoln's death, she even requested it, but Ghost Rider refused. Why? According to Luna and Bennet, it's because they both have a lot in common.

Speaking with EW, Bennet revealed that the two characters shared traits that will make them a natural allies. "They both have certain things in common, so I think they’re going to both be intrigued with one another pretty early on in terms of how they operate," she said. "They’re both organically loners, and they’re both actually good people at the end of the day. Maybe they haven’t been dealt a great hand, and they’re just trying to get by and do what’s right again."

According to Luna, this is why Ghost Rider spared Daisy; he can see her true nature, and sees that they have similar motivations driving them. They won't be doing a full on team-up, but they will be crossing paths again, and they won't necessarily be enemies. "We all funnel into this one road," he explains. "While you can’t call us a team, we’re certainly aligned, but it’s mainly because we’re all seeking the same thing."

Starring Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen and more, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesday nights at 10 ET/PT on ABC.
