While Chloe Bennet may save the day regularly on ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the actress' next project will see her team up with a very different companion: the abominable snowman.
Bennet stars as Yi, the teenage protagonist of DreamWorks' next animated film, Abominable. The upcoming movie has Yi discover a yeti taking refuge on the roof of her apartment in Shanghai after escaping from a maximum security scientific facility.
After befriending the yeti, naming him Everest, Yi and her friends set out to return the mythical creature to his home at the tallest summit on the planet on a journey that takes them across China and Nepal.
While setting out on this brave, new adventure, however, Yi, Everest and their friends will have to stay ahead of and elude a shady mogul (Eddie Izzard) and his top zoologist (Sarah Paulson), who want to recapture the yeti for their own nefarious purposes.
Written and directed by Jill Culton (Toy Story 2), Abominable stars Chloe Bennet, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, Albert Tsai, Eddie Izzard, and Sarah Paulson. The film is scheduled to be released on Sept. 27 in theaters everywhere.
