Season 4 of "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." is bringing a significant shift to the status quo, along with major changes for its key characters -- but after the Season 3 finale, it's pretty clear that the the biggest hurdles are coming for Daisy Johnson, played by Chloe Bennet on the series. Now that Daisy has gone solo following the death of Lincoln Campbell, she may be coming at odds with Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) who is back in the field and tracking down anyone with powers.

Speaking with EW, Bennet spoke about Daisy's frame of mind for Season 4. "Everyone she's gotten close to has died." Bennet went on to explain that Daisy has gone rogue as a way of keeping those she loves safe: "Her way of protecting the people she cares about—which is Coulson and the rest of the team—is to distance herself. She's doing anything she can to help people and try to makeup for what she feels is her fault."

She's in a place where she's not quite a hero, but not a full-fledged villain either, even though that might be the appearance she gives off to the public. According to Bennet, Coulson hasn't given up hope on here, and there's a chance that she and S.H.I.E.L.D. can reconcile: "I don't think she's necessarily working against S.H.I.E.L.D.," Bennet said. "She's Robin Hood-ing it."

Additionally, EW debuted a promo image from the fourth season, featuring Bennet's Daisy Johnson front-and-center.
