For the first time its entire run, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will sit out Comic-Con International in San Diego. Executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen revealed the show's decision to skip the massive entertainment convention in the following post to Twitter.RELATED: Agents of SHIELD, Defenders Stage Mini-Crossover (Sort Of)

As the tweet indicates, while S.H.I.E.L.D. will not have a presence at SDCC, it will indeed return to New York Comic Con this October.

Series star Clark Gregg also took to Twitter to mourn the absence of his show from SDCC:

Though Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will not be at SDCC, plenty of other Marvel Television fare will be making a splash at the convention, including Marvel's Inhumans, Legion, The Gifted and The Defenders, in addition to several Marvel Animation projects.
