Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez is on a mission. "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot" finds Yo-Yo the protagonist of her own six-part digital series, where she engages in her own quest for vengeance.

Now streaming in its entirety, the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." spin-off sends Yo-Yo after the man that killed her cousin in Season 3. However, there's a degree of uncertainty in the air, because -- when the story takes place -- Coulson has just stepped down as director. That means Yo-Yo encounters a tumultuous S.H.I.E.L.D., and she's none too pleased with the bureaucracy of the new Director Jeffrey Mace. Fortunately, though, she's never been someone who lets an order get her down.

As explained by star Natalia Cordova-Buckley in a one-on-one interview with ABC, “Slingshot” chronicles Yo-Yo’s adventures between Seasons 3 and 4. “In ‘Slingshot,’ we’re going to see a lot of her anger and her pain come out in regard to certain injustices that have been done to her and her family,” she explains. “But at the same time, she never loses her humanity. She doesn’t let the anger blind her.”
