Clark Gregg isn't done with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. yet!During this weekend's Comic-Con International in San Diego, it was announced that actor Clark Gregg would return to the series to direct the upcoming Season 6 premiere. Plus, if that weren't enough, Marvel also confirmed that the episode is ominously titled "Missing Pieces."RELATED: Agents of SHIELD Character Breakdowns Offer New Season 6 Details

Clark Gregg's return is particularly noteworthy because it doesn't specify if the actor will return to star in the series. After all, the Season 5 finale ended with a dying Coulson getting ready to enjoy his last few moments with Agent Melinda May -- which didn't necessarily bode well for the character.

It seems like even Marvel is capitalizing on the mystery of Coulson's status, given that the tweet that made the announcement only specified that Gregg would return to the series in a directing capacity. But will Coulson return to the small screen, or did we really see that last of him? We'll have to wait for Season 6 to begin to find out.
